Rayma Gray Henley, age 92, of Eldon, died Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was born March 23, 1918, in Eugene, Missouri to the late Robert Ford and Opal (Bruce) Spalding. On August 11, 1935, she was married in Eugene, Missouri to James Edward Gray who preceded her in death on April 21, 1947, she was then married in Eugene, Missouri on November 16, 1984, to Roy Clark Henley who preceded her in death on December 19, 1996. She was a member of the Eugene Christian Church in Eugene, Mo. where she was the treasurer. She was employed as a cashier for the Olean & Crocker Sale Barn and also as the head bookkeeper for the Bank of Eldon. Survivors include: daughter, Glenda Hardin of Columbia, Missouri; son, Doug Gray and his wife Sharon of Eugene, Missouri; grandchildren, David Hardin, Curt Hardin, Rita Thompson, Christie Albert and Sally Wright; brother, Gary Spalding of Russellville, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and step-daughter, Patti Henley of Boston, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; her son, James Jackson Gray; and her siblings, Robert Spalding; Martha Sue Spalding; Irma Litto & Kelan Spalding. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon with Bro. Alan McNeely officiating. Interment will be in the Spring Garden Cemetery near Eugene. Memorials are suggested to the Show Me Christian Youth Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
