Judith C. (Farley) Boots, 57, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at her home after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was born May 19, 1953, in Fulton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Elliott Garriott Farley and Hazel Virginia (Mealy) Farley. Judith worked as a manager at MFA Oil for 20 years and at Bemboom Enterprises for two years. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Columbia, Missouri. She enjoyed collecting angels, cooking and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Bryan Wayne Dungan of Fulton, Missouri and Charles Zachary Boots of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Chanda Nachele Boots of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Trenton Ray Dungan, Terysa Rayne Dungan and Charles Preston Boots; two brothers, David Elliott Farley of Steedman, Missouri and John Leonard (Linda) Farley of Steedman, Missouri; one sister, Sheryl Jean Taylor of Holts Summit, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and one sister, Janet Lynn Roush preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Gilstrap officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Steedman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Pentecostal Church, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
