Jeffery Wayne Phillips, 44, of New Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 30, 2010, in rural Callaway County. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeff was born on December 1, 1966, in Columbia, and graduated from New Bloomfield High School in 1985 and later graduated from Linn State Technical School. On June 18, 1988, he married Diana Kay Love, who survives of the home along with their dog Sally and cat Tom Kidder. Jeff currently owned and operated Phillips Automotive in New Bloomfield and he loved hunting and pulling trucks that he shared with his family. He also was a member of the Local 430 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Tulsa, Okla. Jeff is also survived by his mother, Raylene Vaughn; his father, Frank Phillips and his wife Janice; his sisters, Cynthia Glenn with her husband Jeff and Cynthia's daughter Joanna; Jessica Jameson with her husband Jason and their daughter Jordan; brothers, Todd Phillips and his fiancÃˆe Myrna Andres along with Todd's children Jeremiah, Gabrielle and Heidi; as well as Josh Phillips and his fiancÃˆe Ashley Freegard. Jeff is also survived by his wife's family and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2011, at Tonanzio's of Guthrie, New Bloomfield.
