Kathlene Hall, 66, of Centertown, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility in Jefferson City. She was born on April 12, 1944, in Howard County near Glasgow, the daughter of Sheridan Sr. and Lula (Parker) Dorsey, both of whom preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on December 22, 1966, in California, to Howard Dean Hall, who preceded her in death on July 30, 1995. She was saved at the age of 14 at the Main Street Baptist Church in California. She lived in St. Joseph for two years and worked at the Snow White Drive-In and attended the First Baptist Church in St. Joseph, to which she moved her letter and church membership. She worked at Cargill Turkey Plant from 1980-1982, when she became ill with Multiple Sclerosis and was confined to a wheelchair from 1984 to her death. She attended California Schools and was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Bobby Hall of Centertown; one daughter, Debbie (Mike) Wierman of Tipton; one granddaughter, Chelsey (Nicky) Hall; one brother, Sheridan Dorsey Jr. of Jefferson City; three sisters, Lula Dean James of Columbia, Evelene Wegman of the state of Virginia, and Jane Hulin of Jefferson City. She was also preceded in death by one infant sister, Virginia Ann Dorsey. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Mathes. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
