Alexander Massman

Alexander L. Massman, 15, of Palmyra, Missouri, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at his home. Alex was born July 11, 1995, in Quincy, Illinois to Jeffrey A. and Amy L. Huhmann Massman. Alex was a sophomore at Palmyra High School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the church youth group. He is survived by his parents; brother, Justin A. Massman of the home; paternal grandmother, Virginia Massman of Bonnots Mill, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Charles and Ellanora Huhmann of Holts Summit, Mo.; great-grandmother, Ida Massman of Meta, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gilbert L. Massman. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palmyra. Father Christopher Smith will officiate. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday at Msgr. Farischon Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Alex L. Massman Memorial.
