June Winebrenner, 88, of Clarksburg, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011, at her residence. She was born June 14, 1922, in Clarksburg, the daughter of Logan and Audrey (Dunham) Vaughan, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married January 23, 1943, in California, to Lloyd Winebrenner, who survives of the home. She was a graduate of Clarksburg High School, where she was active in volleyball and was crowned Miss Clarksburg in 1938. She was a member of Clarksburg Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years as well as a VBS teacher. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's trucking company. She is survived by two daughters, Lori Hites and husband Jim of Centertown, and Micki Meyer and husband Harold of California; grandchildren, Kenneth Rowlette Hites, Grant Zimmerman, Bridget Zimmerman, Adam Zimmerman, Britni Hites, Bailee Hites, Quentin Zimmerman, and Lacey Hites; two step-grandchildren, Mary and Mark Meyer; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Riley Zimmerman, Kaylee Rowlette; and step-great-grandchild, Ciara Day. She was preceded in death by sisters, Nadine Hamlin, Adele Higgins, Vestal Rohrbach, Charlene Emmerich, Arlene Vaughan, and Emma Jean Loganbill; and brothers, Norvelle Vaughan and Carol Dwight Vaughan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Clarksburg Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Leroy Moon and Rev. David Percival. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California.
