Phyllis Ann Patterson, 64, of Holts Summit, died Sunday, December 18, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on August 27, 1947, in Vienna, Mo., the daughter of the late Wilford Roe and Mary Ann Terwilliger Light. She was united in marriage on August 30, 1969, in Belle, Mo., to Thomas William Patterson, who resides at the home. Phyllis worked for International Shoe Co., several car dealerships including Knipp Motors and most recently Reagan Honda as a bookkeeper and office manager. She retired in June of 2009. Phyllis volunteered for Runge Nature Center and Hospice Compassus. She loved to quilt, garden, and deer hunt. In recent years she and her husband enjoyed traveling with different travel groups where they made several new friends. Other survivors include: five siblings, Audrey Hancock, Lake Ozark, Douglas Light, Jefferson City, Debbie (Steve) Rohrbach, California, Paul Light, Farmington, and Melissa (Art) Salts, Vienna; a sister-in-law, Lisa Baclesse, Wardsville; many nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Pete and Opal Jenkins; a nephew, Rick Massey; and two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Ken and Nan Jo Patterson, and Clifford E. Massey. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Capital City Christian Church with Rev. Jim Daniels and Rev. Shane Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
