Julia Loaiza

Julia R. Loaiza, 85, of Westphalia, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at her home. She was born April 11, 1926, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of the late Juan and Trinidad Toledo Mendoza. She is survived by seven sons, four daughters, 39 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis D. Loaiza; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2011, at the Houser Millard Funeral Home. The family would like to invite everyone to a rosary to be held at 1:30 p.m. and prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2011, at the St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Meta, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon, with Fr. Mark Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow on the Loaiza Family Farm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the family's choice.
