Ann Marie Woyak, 74, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, December 8, 2011, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born October 3, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Hubert and Gretchen (Martin) Schlig. She was a graduate of Maria High School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Ann was united in marriage to Myron John Woyak. She was a homemaker and worked as an administrative assistant at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point until her retirement. Mom was a remarkably big-hearted and loving person who lived her faith every day. Ann emanated Christ's unconditional love. She was thoughtful, engaging and a passionate advocate of her family, providing each member with a special piece of her heart. In her spare time, she collected David Winter Cottages, spoons from across the globe and beautiful teacup sets. Grandma loved to write REAL letters; she read every response that would come and indulged in a few books in between! If you didn't receive a letter via "snail mail", there was always one in your email inbox or a text (with hugs included) on your cell! She was an active member of both St. Stephens Catholic Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Ann shared her love of music and beautiful voice in the church choirs and heartfully responded to prayer line requests of both parishes. When Ann prayed, God listened! Survivors include five children: Sheryl Skibba of Madison, Wisconsin, Patrick Woyak of Seattle, Washington, Marcia Efange of Little Canada, Minnesota, Jennifer Duncan and husband Patrick of Ashland, Missouri, Kathryn Glodowski and husband Christopher of Polonia, Wisconsin; one sister, Mary Stoller and husband Rob of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother George Schlig and daughter Gail Woyak. Friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Jefferson City, where a prayer service and rosary will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, with interment in the St. Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Cathedral of St. Joseph Church Choir. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W.
