Tracy Dexter (Veteran)

Tracy Newton Dexter, 45, of Columbia, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011. Tracy Newton Dexter was born April 28, 1966, in Shawnee Mission, Kan., the son of Ronald Dean and Linda Mallicoat Dexter. Tracy proudly served in the United States Army. He owned Ron's Country Boy restaurant for 22 years. He also enjoyed spending time on the river with friends. Survivors include his wife, Diana of Jefferson City; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Mallicoat; two sons, Corey Dexter and Trent Tucker; three daughters, Kelsey and Ayrion Dexter and Danielle Starchman; one sister, Elise Dennis; and three grandchildren, Liam, Lori and Lillianne. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring. A date, time and place will be published later. Memorial contributions may be made to: Missouri River relief of Cooper's Landing.
