Ida M. Irwin, age 80, of Crocker, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Iberia on April 29, 1931, daughter of the late Ray and Martha Dorothy (Dake) Wilson. On December 19, 1946, in Iberia, Ida married Clarence Bollen Irwin, who preceded her in death on July 23, 1997. Ida was employed at the Bank of Iberia for 37 years and attended the Iberia First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by five grandchildren, LeAnn Huey and husband Jason of Swedeberg, Nicky Irwin of Jefferson City, Sara Irwin of Columbia, Lance Irwin and wife Julie of St. Martins, and Eric Wade Irwin and wife of Middleton, Wisconsin; one brother, Bill Wilson and wife JoAnn of Jefferson City; one sister, Flora Copeland of Iberia; three daughters-in-law, Linda Irwin of Iberia, Jackie Irwin of Holts Summit, and Gaye Irwin of Jefferson City; one sister-in-law, Marie Wilson of Eldon; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Micheal Irwin and Gary Irwin; one brother, Vernie Wilson; and one sister, Ruth Dake. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Jeff Higbie and Rev. Greg McClain will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Iberia Cemetery or to the First Assembly of God Church.
