Billie D. Milholland (Poppo), age 65, of Eugene, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born September 12, 1946 in Holyoke, Colorado, the son of William Henry and Blondena Dorsey Milholland, both of whom preceded him in death. Billie was united in marriage on March 31, 1982, in Central City, Colorado, to Patricia Bittle, who survives of the home. He was a pressman for Von Hoffmann Press for many years. Billie enjoyed gardening, collecting coins and guns, and loved his critters, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include: his wife Patricia of the home; three sons, Robert D. Milholland of Eugene, Daniel Milholland with his wife Monica of St. Louis, and John Leslie with his wife Gail of Jefferson City; three daughters, Peggy Jo Evers with her husband Tim of Eugene, Tammy Rackers with her husband Tom of Wardsville, and Serena Leslie of Russellville; one brother, Allen Milholland of Columbia; four sisters, Ila Mae Parker of Jefferson City, Judy Budd with her husband Blackie of Wheatland, Wyoming, Norma Ogden with her husband Rocky of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Betty McBee with her husband Jim of Paoli, Colorado; 13 grandchildren, Jamie Arnold, Danielle Woods, Branden Rackers, Maeghen, Clyde and McKinley Daniels, Andrew and Samantha Milholland, Whitney Parker, Ryan Schwabb, Adam, Aaron and Ashton Leslie; five great- grandchildren, Ava Lynn Lake, Jacob and Janessa Arnold, Ezrah Lee Campbell and Quinton Griffin. Along with his parents, Billie was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Milholland. Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Eugene Christian Church in Eugene, Mo. with the Rev. Steve Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia City cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Heart of Missouri Humane Society, P.O. Box 1031 Jefferson City, MO 65102.
