Mildred Rudroff

Mildred C. Rudroff, age 82, of Rich Fountain, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at her residence. Mildred was born March 9, 1929, in Westphalia, a daughter to the late Frank and Marie Huhn. On October 25, 1949, she was united in marriage to Linus Rudroff in Westphalia. He survives at their home. Mildred was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of St Ann's Sodality at Rich Fountain. In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by: two sons, Alan Rudroff and his wife Patricia of Defiance, Mo., and Bruce Rudroff and his wife Donna of Hazelwood, Mo.; four daughters, Cheryl Thompson of O'Fallon, Mo., Janet Meyer and her husband Lynn of Florissant, Mo., Joy Morris and her husband Larry of Warrenton, Mo., and Lynda Carter and her husband John of Wildwood, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; one brother, Clete Huhn; seven sisters, Clara Fennewald, Lorene Wasinger, Marcella Weiburg, Mary Graessle, Rita Wagner, Alice Faron and Rose Buehler; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. An additional visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg with Fr. Philip Niekamp as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Rich Fountain. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Sacred Heart School or a charity of the donor's choice.
