Carl Hulsey, 64, of High Point, Mo., passed away on Friday July 29, 2011, at his home. He was born on October 5, 1946, in Witts Springs, Ark., to William Carl and Gertie Marrietta (Lee) Hulsey. Carl was a 1964 graduate of Witts Springs High School in Witts Springs, Ark. Shortly after graduation Carl became an over the road owner/operator truck driver. He worked in this business for over 40 years and made many wonderful friends doing the job he loved. He was never still, always busy, a hard worker and a friend to everyone. Carl enjoyed being with family, working in the garden and working on his many vehicles. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all. Carl is survived by his wife, Linda of High Point, Mo.; three sons, Richard (Colleen) Hulsey, James Leroy (Angelia) Hulsey, both of Jefferson City, Mo. and Michael (Della) Jones of Rogersville, Mo.; one stepson, Curtis Jones of Republic, Mo.; two daughters, Karla Hulsey (Bill Werdehausen) of Holts Summit, Mo. and Kelly Hulsey of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Duane (Mary) Turney of Marysville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant grandson, Zachery Lee Hulsey. Services for Carl Hulsey were held Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Ark., with Bro. Roy Ragland officiating. Interment was in Witts Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Denver Lee, Darrin Lee, Mitchell Fifer, Tyler Walden, Leroy Hulsey and Michael Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Hulsey, Bill Werdehausen, David Lee, Stacey Treat and Danny Elliot.
