Bernard "Ben" J. Hueste

Bernard "Ben" J. Hueste, age 76, of Linn, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at his home in Linn. Ben was born November 12, 1934, in Linn, the son of the late Leo Sr. and Agnes (Schaefer) Hueste. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and was a former board member of M.F.A Local #280. Ben served in the U.S. Army. Ben was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed reading and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Ben is survived by three brothers: Ralph and his wife Ellen of Linn, Charles and his wife Dorothy of Linn, and Albert and his wife Mary Jo of Linn; two sisters: Margaret Fluegel and her husband Roy of Jefferson City and Marie Oldelehr of Westphalia; one sister-in-law: Joyce Hueste of Jefferson City; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by one brother: Leo Hueste Jr.; one sister: Leoba Hueste; and one brother-in-law: Joseph Oldelehr. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2011, at the Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral services will held be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2011, at the Morton Chapel in Linn with Rev. Fr. I.C. Medina as the officiant. Interment will follow in the St. George Church Cemetery.
