Viola "Rose" Beckley

Viola "Rose" Beckley, 93, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born September 20, 1917, in Callaway County, the daughter of the late Evertte Salmons and Hattie May (Day) Salmons. In 1937, she married Clarence Morgan Beckley in Fulton. Rose loved spending time with her family and going to the Osage River to enjoy life. She was also an avid card player. She is survived by two sons: Donald (Millie) Beckley of New Bloomfield and Gary Beckley of Holts Summit; one daughter, Lora Adell (James) Martin of Fulton; one sister, Jewel Fritz of Fulton; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter: Verona K. Beckley, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
