Christie Hicks

Christie A. Hicks, 54, of Moberly, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia. Christie was born July 10, 1956, in Moberly, Mo., the daughter of Charles Arnold and Francis Ann (Wilcox) Bailey. Christie was a Baptist by Faith. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends especially her two grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Ann Patton of Moberly, Mo.; one son, Brad Ewing of Higbee, Mo.; one daughter, Shelby Hicks of Moberly, Mo.; two brothers, Mike Bailey and wife Pat of Moberly, Mo. and Steve Bailey and wife Gale of Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Emily Ewing and Carson Downing; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Christie was preceded in death by her father, Charles "Tex" Bailey, step-father Paul Patton and one daughter, Keli Ewing. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, Mo. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
