Billy Joe Basinger Jr.

Billy Joe Basinger, Jr. (JR), 56, of Wilton, Mo. will soon be laid to rest. JR was born February 20, 1955 to Billy Joe Basinger and Dolores Begeman Basinger. JR is survived by his wife Glenda Basinger, one brother Mitchell Basinger, 3 children, 3 stepchildren and 9 grandchildren. JR was the Owner of Ashland Drywall Company and was an Avid fisherman and trapper. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, golfing, and spending time with his beloved mother. He was an active member of the Ashland Boat Club in Wilton, Mo. JR was attending Columbia College for Fire Safety Management and was honored to have been on the Deans List. Those who had the privilege of knowing JR recognize his extreme intelligence and his love for the outdoors and animals. If JR were here to speak to us he would remind each of us to be patient with each other, say something kind to one another everyday, laugh everyday and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. JR was preceeded in death by his father, Billy Joe Basinger. Memorial arrangements will be finalized after the autopsy is completed.
