James Howard Jr. (Veteran)

James J. Howard Jr., age 65, of House Springs, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. He was born on May 7, 1945, in St. Elizabeth, to the late James and Mildred Howard. He was married to Glenda Bax in 1966. Mr. Howard was employed by Chrysler for 32 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly Church in High Ridge. He was father of Kevin Howard and his wife Tammy and Keith Howard and his wife Aini; grandfather of Raquel (Jared) Nahlik and Julia Howard; great-grandfather of Faith Marie and Bella Lynn Nahlik; brother of Helen Moellering of Rochester, N.Y., Janice Maples of Warrenton and David Howard of St. Elizabeth; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Funeral service will be at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, today, Wednesday, April 13, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the South Side Cemetery, Meta.
