Loas Ilene Zimmer, 71, of Wardsville, died Monday, September 27, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born on January 14, 1939, in Meta, Mo., the daughter of the late Numan and Edna Mae Bilyeu Pendleton. She was united in marriage on August 22, 1959, in Meta, Mo., to Lawrence Henry Zimmer, who resides at the home. Loas worked for Mosby Book Publishing in Linn, Mo., for many years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the Over 50 Club. Loas enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, traveling, and was a volunteer with Westphalia Hills Retirement Center. Her greatest passion and love was her family and especially her grandchildren. Other survivors include: four children, Randy (Jennifer) Zimmer, Fulton, Jayne (Glenn) Seamon, Wardsville, Larry Joe (Lisa) Zimmer, Chamois, and Daniel (Nancy) Zimmer, Henley; 13 grandchildren, Zachary, Adeline, Alexander, Bailey, Connor, Jacob, Joseph, Tiffany, Bethany, Shane, Kelsi, Kasey, and Carissa; one great-grandchild, Aiden; and one brother, Carthel (Carol) Pendleton, Columbia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Fick. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2010, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
