Bruce Murray

Bruce Martin Logan Murray, age 67, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010, at his home. He was born April 10, 1943, in Normandy, the son of Dr. H.B. Logan and Dr. Fern Schmutzler Logan Murray, both of whom preceded him in death. Bruce graduated from Normandy High School, and also graduated with two bachelors degrees from the University of Missouri. He was united in marriage February 25, 2007, in Cole County, to Joanne Turley Murray, who survives of the home. He was a Maintenance Supervisor with Parks and Rec in Jefferson City, Mo. Bruce enjoyed restoring old cars, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include: his wife Joanne of the home; his adoptive father, Dr. Andrew T. Murray of Chapin, S.C.; one son, Scott Logan Murray with his wife Lisa K. of Cypress, Texas; one daughter, Cristi Lyn Wuthrich with her husband Dr. Paul of Navasota, Texas; two step-children; one brother, Hugh Bennett Murray of Arizona; one grandchild; six step-grandchildren; and one step- great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, Mo.
