Carlene Belt

Carlene C.J. Belt, 63, of Centertown, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1946, in Hannibal, the daughter of Carl and Frances (Maddox) Sexton. She was married to Leon Belt in 1986, who survives of the home. She worked for over 30 years at St. Mary's Health Center and enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, reading and raising all types of animals. She is survived by her father, Carl Sexton; brother, Jack (Connie) Sexton of Hannibal; sister, Cindy Sexton of Perry; son, Victor (Michelle) Maurer of California; step-son, Jeff (Lisa) Belt of Centertown; and nine grandchildren. Her mother, Frances, preceded her in death in 1975. Arrangements provided by Heartland Cremation & Burial Society of Columbia.
