Catherine Marie Robb, 83, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab. She was born on May 5, 1927 in Slater, the daughter of the late Surber Green and Alice Schwitzer Clay. She was united in marriage on June 21, 1940 in Slater, to Robert V. Pete Robb, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2001. Catherine previously worked at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia as a nurse. She was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and cooking. She is survived by one daughter: Cathie Middleton of Jefferson City; two sisters: Helen Baker and Gloria Sparks of Marshall; one granddaughter: Shawnna Forck and her husband Frank of Taos; three great-grandsons: Derek, Dylan and Dalton Forck, all of Taos; and several nieces and nephews. Per her wishes and her years of service as a nurse, Catherine donated her body to the University of Missouri-School of Anatomy. Private family interment will be held at a later date at the Fayette Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
