Gladys Wordelman

Gladys Harbour Wordelman, 82, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at California Care Center. She was born on August 21, 1928, in Lupus, Mo., the daughter of Porter Reed and Beulah Hattie (Reimler) Harbour, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on September 11, 1948, in California, Mo. to Jack Warren Wordelman, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2002. She was a graduate of Prairie Home High School and earned her LPN license in 1972 through the Jefferson City Public School of Licensed Practical Nursing. She worked in several nursing homes and hospitals, and was the company nurse for Cargill in California for several years. She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Jack Wordelman and wife Judy of Jamestown, Mo.; one daughter, Jo Coffelt of Boonville, Mo.; one brother, Ben Harbour and wife Jewell of Jamestown, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Lois Mattas of Jamestown, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Cyndi Rackers, Kevin Coffelt, Zoe Coffelt, Devyn Ivy, Hannah Robertson, Kody Wordelman, and Matt Wordelman; and five great-grandchildren, Kole Rackers, Chace Rackers, Kendall Coffelt, Avery Coffelt, and Treye Coffelt. She was preceded in death by brothers Jewell and Dean Harbour; grandson, Eric Gene Coffelt, and great-grandson, Eric Wayne Roark. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Jamestown Baptist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Jamestown. Officiating will be Rev. Louie Moyers. Visitation will also be held on Monday, October 4, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
