Karen R. Lueckenotte, age 54 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, November 18, 2010, at her home. Karen was born January 28, 1956, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Isidore and Mary Wolken Lueckenotte. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Karen was a graduate of Cole County R-1 at Russellville, Mo. She was employed with the Missouri Division of Economic Development for many years prior to her retirement in 2007. Survivors include: one son, Christopher Lueckenotte and his wife Lesley of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Blake Lueckenotte, Collin Lueckenotte, and Spencer Lampe; three sisters, Joan Whittle and her husband Bill of Centertown, Mo., Betty Farris and her special friend Dale Nivens, and Agnes Brenneke and her husband Ken of Wentzville, Mo.; five brothers, Bernard Lueckenotte of Jefferson City, Mo., Fred Lueckenotte and his wife Maxine of St. Louis, Mo., Joseph Lueckenotte and his wife Susie of Jefferson City, Mo., Bill Lueckenotte and his wife Diana of California, Mo., and Stanley Lueckenotte of Jefferson City, Mo.; 13 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in infancy, John Lueckenotte. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2010.
