C. A. Schoenen Jr.

C. A. Schoenen Jr., 79, of Morganton, N.C., died Monday, November 8, 2010. He was born July 19, 1931, in Cole County, Mo. and was a son of the late Clarence Anthony Schoenen Sr. and Balbina Rackers Schoenen. He was a graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Westphalia, Mo. and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are a son, Steve Schoenen, and a brother, William "Bill" Schoenen Sr. both of Morganton, N.C.; and sisters, Rosemary Schoenen Buesmeyer of Jefferson City and Ruth Schoenen Parsa of Leawood, Kan. In addition to his parents, C. A. was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Biggs Schoenen, and by siblings, Frank John Schoenen Sr., Helen Louise Schoenen Taft, Doris Jo Schoenen Forck, and Dr. Robert Lee Schoenen Sr. Sossoman Funeral Home of Morganton, N.C. assisted with arrangements.
