Garrett Anthony Diemler, 24, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born on December 2, 1985, in Jefferson City, the son of Anthony "Tony" Garrett and Mary Adele Rackers Diemler. Garrett was a 2004 graduate of Helias High School and attended Lincoln University and Missouri S&T College in Rolla. Garrett was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He loved listening to music, playing guitar, drawing and sketching, math and science, politics, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Other survivors include: his sister, Natalie Diemler, Jefferson City; his paternal grandmother, Marge Braswell, Plano, Texas; and his step- grandfather, Ron Braswell, Texarkana, Ark. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pauline and Jerome Rackers; and paternal grandfather, Robert "Bud" Diemler. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Brendan Doyle and Rev. Mark S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Garrett Diemler Memorial Fund.
