Mildred Nichols

Mildred F. Nichols, 80 of Fulton, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the University of Missouri Hospital Center in Columbia. She was born October 20, 1929, in Callaway County, to Melvin and Goldie (Winningear) Griffith. She married Marvin Dye on May 6, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She married Delvin Nichols in 1985 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Survivors include: one daughter, Lori Dye-Soltero and husband Anthony of Fulton; one daughter-in-law, Clover Dye of New Bloomfield; one sister, Sammie Durst of Fulton; one grandchild, Tabi Dye of Meta; and four great-grandchildren, Saddie and Kurstien Soltero of Fulton, Makinzie Dye of Linn, and Abby Dye of Meta. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, four children, and one grandchild. Mrs. Nichols was employed with Missouri Division of Aging for 15 years and retired in 2004. She enjoyed being part of her family and raising children. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 2 at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 2, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton from 1 p.m. until time of service.
