Raymond Weaver

Raymond Vern Weaver, 80, of Tebbetts, Mo., died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at his home. He was born April 11, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of the late Raymond Elwood and Bessie Alberta (Williams) Weaver. On Aug. 19, 1969, he married Patricia Alden in San Diego, Calif. She survives at their home. He is also survived by one son, Raymond Kelly Weaver and his wife June of Pangburn, Arkansas; four daughters, Lynn Weaver of Baytown, Texas, Michelle Patton and husband Jimmy of Camdenton, Mo., Tammy Harris and husband Eugene of Holts Summit, and Dina Weaver of Harrisburg, Mo.; one sister, Irma Lee Gentges of Jefferson City, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Randall Weaver; one brother, Duane Weaver; and one sister, June Jungmeyer. Raymond retired from the US Navy and the Dept. of Social Services. He was a member of the VFW and the Federated Retiree's Association. He was a member of Harvest Time Ministries. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 7, at the Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit with Rev. Charles Norris officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Summit Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
