Mr. Paul Bruemmer (Veteran)

Mr. Paul W. Bruemmer, age 69 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at his home. Paul was born November 30, 1940 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Adam P. and Ruth H. Stroman Bruemmer. He was married on August 22, 1964, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Virginia L. Spilman. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Paul was a 1958 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Paul was a self-employed truck driver for over 40 years prior to his retirement in 2000. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Survivors include: his loving wife of 54 years, Virginia Bruemmer of the home; and one daughter, Victoria Dawn Bruemmer Staley and her husband Keven of Dover, Del. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Michael Koelling officiating with military honors following the funeral. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary immediately before the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Central Missouri Kidney Assn.
