Erma Utterback Todd, 90, of Mexico, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Audrain Medical Center. Mrs. Todd was born on March 21, 1919, in St. Louis, a daughter of Emmett and Johnna Dell (Farmer) Utterback. She was married to Dan "Dick" Singleton and later to Harry E. Todd, both of whom preceded her in death. She worked at International Shoe Factory and had also worked as a nurse. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mexico. She had been a volunteer for the Red Cross and as a "Candy Striper" (AMC Auxillary), and she had been a member of the Woman's Club. Survivors include one daughter, Dixie Dell Bowen, California, Mo.; two grandchildren, Cheryl Chaney, Columbia, and Robert Greeno and wife Priscilla, Centertown, Mo.; five great-grandchildren; 10 great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Garnett Utterback; and one sister Opal Dell Christian. Funeral services was Monday at 1 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Cullen Greeno and Rev. Sabian Chaney officiating. Visitation was Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
