Charles Brant (Veteran)

Charles Louis Brant, 77, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born November 16, 1932, to Henry C. Brant Jr. and Louise Imhoff, in Boonville, Mo. He was married June 20, 1953, in Tipton, to Jo Folsom, who survives of the home. He was a lineman for Missouri Utilities. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He served in the US Army in Panama. He is survived by his wife of the home; four daughters, Victoria Havener and Greg of Jefferson City; Debbie Spillars and Jim of Tipton; Kim Tschirgi and Dan of Lohman; and Valerie Bergemann and Kyle of McChord Air Force Base in Washington; two sons, Tom Brant and Jeanne of Jefferson City and Scott Brant and Olivia of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Services for Mr. Brant will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
