Roberta Christine Coshow, 79, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on May 11, 1930, in Eldorado, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Robert and Wilma Burnett Simpson. She was married on September 7, 1946, in Oklahoma to Loyd M. Woodward, who died on February 13, 1983. She was later married to Ralph Coshow on July 17, 1998, in Taos, who died on January 17, 2003. A homemaker, Mrs. Coshow was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed sewing and her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Bobby Woodward of Taos, and Lonnie (Terri) Woodward of Freeburg; two daughters: Jelene (Joe) Ballard of Dumas, Texas, and Jenelle (Keith) Schoonover of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two half-brothers: Robert Simpson of Canyon, Texas, and Kenneth (Marge) Simpson of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by one sister: Fleda Mae Weathers; and one step-sister: Beth Smith. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crawford, Texas, at a later date.
