Cletus R. Dudenhoeffer Jr., 57, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. Cletus was born May 25, 1952, in Jefferson City, a son of Cletus R. and Gladys H. (Schaffer) Dudenhoeffer Sr. He attended Jefferson City Public Schools as well as the Vogelweid Learning Center. Cletus worked for Sheltered Workshop/Capital Projects from 1968 until the present. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and loved to go bowling. While bowling for his Monday night league, he was a member of "The 4 Dudes" bowling team. Cletus was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the St. Peter Men's Association. He is survived by a brother: John F. Dudenhoeffer and two sisters: Judy R. Dudenhoeffer and Janice G. Dudenhoeffer, all of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cletus & Gladys Dudenhoeffer. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Fr. J. David Maher officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Vogelweid Learning Center or to Sheltered Workshop/Capital Projects.
