Ms. Sharon Mary Sullivan, 50, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009, at Barnes Jewish Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo. A native of Harpers Ferry, 12Sullivan.JPGW. Va., Sharon was the daughter of Arthur Lawrence and Florence Cahill Sullivan of Surfside Beach, S.C. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1977 and enrolled at Southeastern Missouri State University where she graduated in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Special Education. Sharon also earned her Master's Degree in Special Education. She later attended Lincoln University for further accreditation. She worked as an educator for 28 years and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jefferson City. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son, Ian Turley of Columbia, Mo.; her daughter, Kelly Turley of the home; her brother, Kevin Sullivan and wife Coti of Marietta, Ga.; and her sister, Kim Pyles and husband Bruce, of Rock Hill, S.C.; her nephew, Brian Sullivan of Marietta, Ga.; nieces Sally Pyles Duren and Madeleine Pyles, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; and great-nephew, Sullivan Duren, of Rock Hill, S.C. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010, at St. Joseph's Cathedral, Jefferson City. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
