Rodney Webster

Rodney A. (Rod) Webster, 80, passed away on Saturday, February, 27, 2010, at the Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Magnolia, Arkansas. Rodney was born on November 3, 1929, in Wales, Maine, to the late Randall and Annie (Johnson) Webster. Rod worked in construction most of his life and as a real estate agent. He was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rites, and Shriners. His passion was golf and after retirement, he worked at several golf courses and as a "Red Coat" at Oaklawn Race Track. He is survived by his wife, Donna Webster of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Donna Hoffmann and husband Jerry of Magnolia, Arkansas; five sons, John Webster and wife Vicki of Saginaw, Mich., Rodney Webster Jr., Bryant Webster, Danny Webster, and Tommy Webster, all of great Portland Maine; stepson, Steve Jones and wife Laura of Webb City, Mo.; stepdaughter, Melody Irle and husband Jeff of Warrensburg, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; nine step grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. A private service will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas at a later date. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; seven sisters; one son and one grandson.
