Rev. Clyde Clark

Rev. Clyde Allen Clark, 73, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born July 24, 1936, in Van Buren, Missouri, a son of Roy Luel and Cleo Geneva (Miller) Clark. On July 10, 1954, Clyde was united in marriage in St. Louis, to Peggy Clark, who preceded him in death on February 21, 2008. Clyde was an ordained Assembly of God minister and was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, playing the piano and guitar, singing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved working in his yard and keeping it in perfect condition. Survivors include five children: Deborah Elaine Puckett and husband Frank of New Bloomfield, Jay Allen Clark and wife Elaine of Noel, Missouri, Gennie Lea Foster and husband John of Jefferson City, Jeffery Roy Clark and wife Tami of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Christina Faye Clark and husband Brian of Lowell, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons, James Walter Clark and Frank Dale Puckett Jr. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Skiles officiating. Interment will follow in the California City Cemetery.
