Mildred Ann Schulte, 74, of Nanuet, New York, formerly of Freeburg, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. She was born in Jefferson City, on January 6, 1936, to Linus and Ermalinda Neuner Hasenbeck. On February 11, 1956, she was married to Joseph R. Schulte, who survives at the home in Nanuet, New York. Over the years Mildred held positions as secretary, data-entry operator, typesetter, programmer, and most recently as a free-lance proofreader and copy editor. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed The New York Times puzzles, Jeopardy, poker, pitch, pinochle, good music, good books, good food, and a good martini. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons and three daughters: Glenn (Kathy) Schulte, Jolene Schulte, Jayne Vetere (Mark), John Schulte, Eric Schulte, and Krista McCormack (Tom); grandchildren: Anne Marie, Emily, Christine, Katie, Lisa, Aine, Liam, and Michael; two sisters: Elaine Healey and Jean Hasenbeck; and four brothers: Gerald Hasenbeck, Larry Hasenbeck (Ruth), Ted (Shirley) Hasenbeck, and Bob (Carol) Hasenbeck; One daughter: Zoe; one brother: Paul; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law and her parents preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet, New York. Anyone wishing to make a memorial offering is asked to please make a donation to help feed the hungry or have a Mass offered for the repose of her soul.
