Brenda Markham, 62, of California, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010, at her residence. She was born August 7, 1947 in Hibbing, Minn., the daughter of Albany Arthur and Ethel Edna (Davis) Riendeau, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on November 23, 1976, in Camarillo, Calif., to Robert L. Markham, who survives of the home. She was a 1965 graduate of South Milwaukee High School, and a 1976 graduate of Ventura Business College. She was the secretary for Spieler's, Inc. for nine years. She also worked as a receptionist for a gastroenterologist in Camarillo, Calif. for seven years. She was a member of California United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women, General Federated Women's Club, Disciple Bible Study, and was Acolyte coordinator and youth leader, Monday night Burger Haus Gals, and the Card Club. She is survived by two daughters, Sharri Ames of Lucerne Valley, Calif., and Debbie Gaudutis of Lee's Summit; three brothers, Lee, Gaylen and Al Riendeau, all of Apache Junction, Ariz.; several aunts and uncles; one niece, Heather Riendeau, and one nephew, Travis Riendeau. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rolland and Arland Riendeau. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at California United Methodist Church. Burial will be in California Masonic Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Linda Pagel. Visitation will be on Monday, June 7, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services. Memorials are suggested to either California United Methodist Church or American Cancer Relay for Life, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
