Pamela Keilholz

Pamela Z. Keilholz, age 55, of Chamois, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, at her residence with her family by her side. Pamela was born September 1, 1954, in Columbia, Mo., a daughter to the late Charles and Mary (Zaring) Blackman. She was a 1972 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1978 graduate of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. She later received her Master's Degree in teaching from Leslie College. Pamela taught school for 27 years with the majority of those years being spent as an art teacher in the Chamois Osage County R1 School District. She also was employed part time at the Good Buys Store in Hermann. On March 22, 1986, she was united in marriage to Joe Keilholz, who survives of the home. Pamela was a member of the Chamois United Methodist Church and enjoyed ceramics, teaching, cats, shopping, cooking and horses. She also enjoyed the tomatoes that her husband grew for her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one brother, John and his wife Martha Blackman of St. Louis; her father and mother-in-law, Elmer and his wife Jane Keilholz Sr. of Chamois; two brother-in-laws, David and his wife Sandra Keilholz of Chamois, and Jeffrey and his wife Jennifer Keilholz of Chamois; two sister-in-laws, Deborah Keilholz of Fulton, and Colleen Strope and her husband Rodney of Chamois, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Pamela was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Mary Blackman. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Chamois. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Chamois United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Deer Creek Cemetery.
