Helen Binz

Helen L. Binz, age 83, of Chesterfield, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010, at her home, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Binz; dear mother of Cathleen (Gus) Beier, St. Louis, Joan Janes of Juneau, Ark., Jeanne (Mark) Naeger of Jefferson City, Mo. and Michael (Kelly) Binz of Chesterfield, Mo.; loving Grandma of John Beier, Megan (Chris) Wallace, Lisa Janes, Michael Janes, Erin Naeger, Katherine Naeger, Mary Naeger, Kristin Binz, Katie Binz and Michael Binz Jr.; great-grandma of Tommy Jones, Maddie Wallace and Jack (JJ) Wallace; dear sister of Robert J. (Linda) Liebe Jr.; dear cousin of Jeanne Haase; aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. Helen was a member of Chi Omega sorority at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She was also the 1st Executive Director of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. Helen and Louis served as Chaircouple of the Christian Family Movement in 1964, and were very active in several St. Louis area Parish Schools of Religion. Funeral Mass will be at Ascension Catholic Church, Chesterfield at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon or Ascension Catholic Church.
