Ella Margaret Anne Regan, 89, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born on April 3, 1921, in Montreal Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Geoffrey Johnstone and Ida Jane Tate Dodd. She attended school at Trafalgar School for Girls and McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She was united in marriage on October 6, 1956, in Montreal, Quebec, to Leonard Charles Regan who preceded her in death on August 23, 1971. Anne was employed with Vitae Caring Foundation as a coordinator of educational outreach for over 34 years. While in Montreal, she worked as a secretary for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality. Anne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, babies, reading, watching over her wrens, and traveling with her late husband. Survivors include: two children, Peter (Pam) Regan, Jefferson City; Susan (Arnie) Schreck, Tipton; four grandchildren, Shannon (Abe) Bahadori, Ethan Regan, Adam Schreck, Levi Regan; one niece, Ellen (Jim) Hancock and their children, James and Elizabeth; and one nephew, Geoffrey (Lucy) Dodd. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dodd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. David D. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Catholic Charities of Kansas City, 301 E.
