William Townley

William D. "Bill" Townley, 87, died Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Linn. He was born September 13,1922, the dear son of the late Alvah and Ina (Collier) Townley. He was also the dear father of Steven (Lynn) Townley of Rocheport, Mo., Glenn (Peggy) Townley of O'Fallon Mo. and Lynn (John) Norman, Foristell, Mo.; loving brother of Kenneth (Ester) Townley, Donald (Evenlyn) Townley of Liberty Mo. and Ruth (Andy) Anerdson Albany N.Y. and loving grandfather of eight. Mr. Townley was a member of Masonic Lodge Chamois 185 and St. Charles Chapter #1 Eastern Star Alexander Chapter 242, The Royal Order of Scotland, York Council 40, St. Charles, Mo., Missouri Lodge of Research, Red Cross of Constantine, White Shrine of Jerusalem, WWII. Friends will be received from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Paul Funeral Home, St. Charles, and Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meyer Hilke Millard Funeral Home, Chamois. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Chamois. Interment will follow in the Chamois City Cemetery.
