Robert Crooks

Mr. Robert C. "Bob" Crooks, age 52 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, January 22, 2010, at Adams Street Place. Bob was born September 11, 1957, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of General Frank and Jean Ronsick Crooks. Bob was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1980 graduate of Columbia College with a degree in business administration. After college, he relocated to Denver, Colorado where he was employed as a marketing representative for Welch's Beverages. Later, he relocated to Huntsville, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia, working in the direct mail business until ongoing symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis rendered him unable to work. Bob then moved back to Jefferson City where he lived with his parents for a number of years. Survivors include: his parents, General Frank and Jean Crooks of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Cathie Stein of Greenwich, Connecticut and Barbara Crooks of Boca Raton, Florida. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
