Sarah Emmerich

Sarah Emmerich, age 74, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010, at the Golden Living Center, in Jefferson City. She was born October 11, 1935, in Evening Shade, Ark., a daughter of Ben and Lucile Brown Emmerich, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married April 3, 1960, in Pitcher, Okla., to Walter "Bud" Emmerich, who also preceded her in death. Sarah was employed with Cheseborough Ponds where she retired after 20 plus years of service. Sarah loved spending time with family and friends, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include: four sons, James F., Chaney M., Henry C., and John F. Emmerich.; one daughter, Hermena Gail Roddy; two brothers and three sisters; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 4-6 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, with Truman Hodge officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001. Arrangements are under the direction of Weber Funeral Home in Russellville.
