John Roethemeyer

John Edwin Roethemeyer, 71, of Owensville, Mo., passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Gerald Nursing and Rehab Center in Gerald. John was born in Owensville on May 26, 1938, a son of the late Edwin Herman and Annie (Simpson) Roethemeyer. He was a lifetime member of the Owensville Threshers Association. His survivors include his sister, Judy Roethemeyer of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Allen Roethemeyer. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Glenn Hollander officiating. Burial will be in the St. James United Church of Christ Cemetery in Charlotte. Visitation for the public was at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
