Delvine Trachsel

Delvine "Dee" Minnie Trachsel, 62, of Russellville, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born April 19, 1947, in Washington, Missouri, a daughter of Buel "Jack" and Edith Deppe Vincent, both deceased. She attended Summit C2 School and graduated from Wallace Doty School of Hair Dressing in Jefferson City. On December 31, 1966, she was united in marriage to Otto Gene Trachsel, who survives in Columbia. Dee was a homemaker for her family and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake and playing cards on ladies night with friends and family. She is survived by four children: Denise Ridenhour and husband John, John Trachsel and wife Jan, LaDonna Uptegrove, Darrell Trachsel and wife Amy; two sisters: Adeline Ortmeyer and husband James, and Kay Schaffer; one brother, David Vincent and wife Becky; and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
