Gary Moad

Gary Wayne Moad, age 62, of Eugene, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born August 19, 1948, in Jefferson City, the son of Roy and Pearl Renee Hendricks Moad, both of whom preceded him in death. Gary graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was united in marriage November 13, 1974, in Jefferson City to Ladonna Jean Swearingen, who survives. Gary drove trucks for KSS enterprise for many years. He was a member of the Liberty Road Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include: one daughter, Carol Ann Reynolds of Marshall; one brother, Granville Gene Moad with his wife Tilly of Eldon; four sisters, Carol Meyer of Des Moines, Iowa, Sara Bias of Cole Camp, Polly Ann Grey with her husband Bradly of the state of Oregon, and Vivian Cunningham of Calio; two grandchildren, Aleesha and Brian Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, David, Jerry, Harvey and Leroy Moad; and four sisters, Helen Connel, Viola Abbott, Mary McDermit and Bonnie Hobbs. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Weber Funeral Home in Russellville, with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. The Bro. Gene Hodges will officiate. Memorials are suggested to Weber Funeral Home, 13415 Rt. C, Russellville, MO 65074.
