Ronald Jobe

Ronald L. "Ronnie" Jobe, age 70, of Eldon, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born March 5, 1940, in California, a son of Roy and Bonnie West Jobe. On October 10, 2009, in St. Louis, Ronnie married Carolyn "Sam" Pasley and she survives at their home. He was a 1958 graduate of Russellville High School. He also attended the Rank and Trade School in St. Louis. Ronnie was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local # 562. He worked for many years with Harold Butzer in Jefferson City. He currently was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Eldon, but for most of his life was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Russellville. He liked to go fishing, taking road trips and he thoroughly enjoyed visiting with family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, Roy Jobe and his wife Mildred of Russellville; four children and their spouses, Debbie and Jay Seaver of Jefferson City; Carla and Paul Jenkins of Holts Summit; Lyle and Dana Jobe of Russellville and Kendall Jobe of Jefferson City; three step- children and their spouses, Dennis Pasley of Lake Ozark; Debra and Norman LeBlanc of Lake Ozark and Bryan and Teresa Pasley of Festus; two brothers and their wives, Gary and Pat Jobe of Henley and Danny and Marlene Jobe of Jefferson City and their sons, Brandon and Nathan, seven grandchildren, Jordan Seaver, Jessica Kempker, Shelby and Kendra Jobe, Brooke Jenkins, Abbey Jobe and Tabitha Jenkins; two step-great-grandchildren, William and Kate Pasley, also other relatives and many friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Highway AA south of Russellville with Bro. Alan Earls officiating. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt.
