Col. Ronald Fee (Veteran)

Col. Ronald R. Fee, 82, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at the Missouri Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 21, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, to Ira and Nevada Gaines Fee . He and V. Lee Ross were married February 3, 1951, at Poplar Bluff. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. He retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Army after a 40 year military career. Survivors include: his wife, V. Lee Fee, Cape Girardeau; son, Bruce Fee and wife Carla, Cape Girardeau; son, Keith Fee, Holts Summit; son, Kevin Fee and wife Lisa, Warrensburg; daughter, Rhonda Ray and husband Stephen, Cape Girardeau; grandchildren: Joshua Fee, Sarah Fee, Danielle Fee, Warren Ray, Ashlee Fee, Jaymee Fee; and step-grandson, Justin Vanderpool. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, one sister, and one grandson, Justin Ray. Friends may call 4-7 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2010, at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau with military honors conducted by the Missouri Honor Guard.
